Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Co., a major financial services company, has made a significant investment in The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE:TRV).
According to its most recent Form 13F filing with the SEC, Northwestern Mutual bought 34,345 shares of TRV's stock during the second quarter, valued at approximately $11,338,000.
This is not an isolated incident; other hedge funds have also been actively modifying their holdings in TRV. Berman McAleer LLC grew its stake by 3.5% during the same period, while Willner & Heller LLC lifted its position by 2.7%. Spinnaker Trust and Avalon Trust Co. also increased their shares.
