NP Service Boosts Stake in American Express

National Pension Service has increased its stake in American Express Company by 0.8% during the second quarter, according to the latest SEC filing.

The fund purchased an additional 9,873 shares of AXP's stock, bringing its total ownership to 1,191,145 shares worth approximately $402 million as of the most recent filing.

This move is part of a larger trend of institutional investors increasing their positions in American Express, with other large firms like Evolution Wealth Management Inc. and Archer Investment Corp also making significant purchases during the quarter.
