NVIDIA Accelerates Local AI with New Tools and Technologies
NVIDIA is accelerating local AI at IFA 2026 by partnering with Microsoft and other companies to provide faster inference and new tools for running agents locally on NVIDIA hardware.
The company has announced several new developments, including simplified local AI support for its GPUs in Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, and Perplexity Portable Computer. These tools will make it easier to set up and run local agents, reducing the need for manual configuration and optimization.
NVIDIA is also releasing a new Personal AI Router (PAIR) tool that can distribute AI inference across multiple PCs on a user's network, making it possible to utilize idle computing power for local AI tasks.
