Nvidia Advances High-Speed Computing with CPO Production
Nvidia executive discusses CPO production and pluggable optics progress.
In an interview, an Nvidia executive revealed that they are making good progress in producing their Compute Processors with Optical Interconnects (CPO) for high-speed computing applications. The CPO is a key component of the company's Accelerated Computing Systems Division, which aims to provide high-performance computing solutions.
The executive noted that pluggable optics, which allow for the connection of multiple devices to a single cable, are also being developed in parallel with the CPO production. This technology will enable faster and more efficient data transfer between devices.
