Nvidia and Big Finance Team Up on AI Infrastructure
Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang says AI compute is becoming an 'investable asset class', a new and exciting development in the world of finance. He claims that Nvidia chips are productive, long-lived, transferable, and increasingly essential to modern infrastructure.
The company has partnered with six major asset managers - Apollo Global Management, Blackstone, BlackRock, Brookfield Asset Management, The Goldman Sachs Group, and KKR & Co. - to mobilize more than $500 billion in third-party capital for AI infrastructure.
This initiative aims to make AI computing infrastructure a financeable, revenue-generating asset similar to commercial real estate or other long-term infrastructure.
