Nvidia and CrowdStrike Unveil Frontier Cybersecurity Models
Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang has praised the partnership between his company and CrowdStrike, calling it 'my No. 1 cybersecurity partner' and 'my No. 1 cybersecurity provider'. The two companies have collaborated on a new set of frontier AI models called SafeMind, which are designed to help organizations defend against intensifying cyberthreats powered by AI.
SafeMind is an agentic system that continuously attacks and deploys protections within a digital replica of an organization's environment. It features newly designed agent harnesses and is the industry's first complete agentic system for cybersecurity, including the first frontier models purpose-built for defenders.
According to CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz, SafeMind was created using Nvidia's Nemotron open models and required intensive collaboration between teams at Nvidia and CrowdStrike over a number of months. Huang said that the creation of SafeMind is 'a completely brilliant' idea and that it will be hugely appealing to customers.
