Nvidia and Hyundai Take Next Step in Humanoid Robot Development
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says humanoid robots are 'very very close' to industrial reality as the company deepens its partnership with Hyundai. The two companies aim to bring physical AI and robotics technologies into real-world industrial products, focusing on moving from labs to factory floors.
Huang praised Hyundai's manufacturing prowess, saying no other company is better positioned than Hyundai to take advantage of Nvidia's expansive capabilities. The partnership builds on their existing collaboration announced last October, where Hyundai set up a new AI factory powered by Nvidia's Blackwell infrastructure.
The two companies are also working together on Hyundai's 'AI Valley' project, which aims to create a perfect AI ecosystem, including a joint data hub. Hyundai has invested $5.9 billion in the project and plans to expand its investment with Nvidia's involvement.
