Nvidia and Micron Poised for AI-Fueled Growth as Alphabet and Amazon Spend Big
Nvidia and Micron are poised to benefit from massive infrastructure spending by tech giants Alphabet and Amazon, as they look to capitalize on the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Alphabet and Amazon are two of the biggest spenders in AI, with projected capital expenditures totaling $420 billion. This increased investment is expected to drive growth for companies supplying computing hardware, particularly those specializing in graphics processing units (GPUs) and memory chips.
Nvidia's GPUs are widely used by AI clients, making it a key beneficiary of the trend. The company has already seen strong revenue growth, with an 85% increase in Q1 2026. Analysts project that Nvidia will continue to grow at a rate of around 43% next fiscal year.
Micron, on the other hand, operates in the memory chip industry, which Amazon identified as a key driver for its increased capital expenditures guidance. With demand outpacing supply and prices skyrocketing, Micron is well-positioned to capitalize on this trend. The company's management team expects the market to remain tight beyond 2027.
