Nvidia and Salesforce Fuel AI-Driven Stock Rally on Wall Street
Tech stocks led Wall Street higher on Thursday after Nvidia and Salesforce reported stronger-than-expected profits for the spring quarter, thanks in part to growth from artificial intelligence.
Nvidia, a chip giant, surged 8.7% after delivering profit and revenue that topped analysts' estimates, as well as forecasts for upcoming revenue growth that exceeded expectations.
The company's CEO, Jensen Huang, said AI has reached its 'inflection point,' with its tokens becoming productive and profitable.
