Nvidia and Salesforce Lead Tech Stocks Higher on Strong Earnings
Tech stocks led Wall Street higher on Thursday after Nvidia and Salesforce reported stronger-than-expected profits for their latest quarters.
Nvidia's shares surged 8.7% as the chipmaker once again delivered strong earnings, with CEO Jensen Huang saying 'AI has reached its inflection point.' The company also topped analysts' estimates for upcoming revenue growth, suggesting demand remains high for AI chips.
Salesforce jumped 22.6% after delivering one of its best quarters in history, thanks in part to the success of its AI and data products. The company raised its forecast for full-year revenue and announced a partnership with Anthropic's Claude chatbot.
