Nvidia and SpaceXAI Partner on Space Datacentre Infrastructure
Nvidia and SpaceXAI are collaborating to adapt terrestrial datacentre infrastructure for space. The goal is to create a common architecture and software ecosystem across Earth-based computing environments and space datacentres.
The first-generation Starmind datacentre satellite, due for launch in late 2027, will be based on Nvidia's Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale system.
Nvidia is currently working with SpaceXAI to develop Earth-based infrastructure for use in space, where power, thermal management, bandwidth, reliability, and physical integration pose unique challenges.
