Nvidia Axes Windows 10 Driver Support for Performance Updates
Nvidia has announced that it will no longer release new feature and performance updates for Windows 10 Game Ready Drivers after October 2026. Instead, the company will focus on quarterly security fixes until October 2029.
This means that Windows 10 gamers may experience bugs or poor optimization in newer game titles due to the lack of critical driver updates.
Nvidia's decision is a major blow for gamers still using Windows 10, as it ends full GeForce driver support on the platform by November 2029. Microsoft will continue to provide security updates for Windows 10 until October 2027 through its Extended Security Updates (ESU) program.
