Nvidia-Backed Cloud Providers Land Multi-Billion Dollar Deals

Anthropic has inked a massive $35 billion cloud deal with Lambda, a Nvidia-backed cloud provider. This agreement comes on the heels of another significant contract signed by Anthropic just last month for $45 billion with Nscale, also backed by Nvidia. The new partnership involves Hut 8, which is developing a data center in Texas's Nueces County that will be used to install chips purchased from Nvidia. Lambda will utilize this space to access the capacity at an undisclosed cost.

The deal aims to alleviate supply shortages Anthropic encountered earlier this year due to its products gaining popularity. With these agreements, Anthropic appears to be securing a stable cloud infrastructure for its operations.
