Nvidia-Backed CodeRabbit Valued at $1.5 Billion Amid Surge in AI Code Review Demand
CodeRabbit, an Nvidia-backed startup that specializes in AI-powered code review services, has secured $143 million in new funding. The financing values the company at a staggering $1.5 billion.
The round was led by Atomico and Smash Capital, with participation from BMW i Ventures and Datadog Inc. Existing backers like Nvidia Corp. also contributed to the effort.
Founded just three years ago in 2023, CodeRabbit's tool automates code reviews as it is written, helping professionals and amateurs spot flaws in AI-generated software programming.
The company's CEO, Harjot Gill, believes there's a 'massive pull' in the market for such products. With around 17,000 customers using its service, CodeRabbit conducts over 2 million code reviews each week.
