Nvidia-Backed Firm Lands Record $3.1 Billion Loan for Asian Computing Push

Zankore, an Indonesian AI infrastructure platform backed by Nvidia Corp., has secured a massive loan to purchase advanced chips. The $3.1 billion deal, one of Asia's largest AI infrastructure financing, was signed on Wednesday.

The loan was underwritten by Citigroup Inc., ING, Natixis, Qatar National Bank, and United Overseas Bank Ltd., with Citigroup serving as the sole debt adviser.

This move highlights surging demand for computing capacity across Asia. Zankore's efforts to bolster its AI infrastructure are likely driven by growing needs in industries such as healthcare, finance, and education.
