Nvidia Blazes Past Competition with Record-Breaking 15-Year Returns
Nvidia has emerged as the top performer among major companies over a 15-year period, according to financial journalist Jon Erlichman. The tech giant delivered an impressive 71,207% return, far surpassing other notable companies like Tesla and Apple.
In contrast, legacy companies Intel and Disney saw gains of 381% and 226%, respectively, while Ford rose 39%. On the other hand, Macy's declined by 9%, and BlackBerry dropped a significant 64% over the same period.
This data is in line with previous highlights reported by Erlichman, who noted that Sandisk and Rackspace led major stock gains earlier this year. Sandisk saw an increase of 441% during this time, while Rackspace rose 372%. It's worth mentioning that Tesla's valuation jumped from $71 billion to a staggering $1 trillion after Elon Musk considered taking the company private in 2018.
