NVIDIA has made a significant breakthrough in its CUDA 13.4 toolkit release, extending native support to Windows on Arm laptops for the first time in the platform's 19-year history.

The move marks a major milestone for NVIDIA and its partners, including Qualcomm and Microsoft, who have been pushing to make Windows on Arm a viable platform for AI workloads.

CUDA Toolkit 13.4 now allows developers to compile GPU-accelerated applications directly on Windows on Arm devices, eliminating the need for cross-compilation or emulation.

The toolkit ships with two distinct workflows: native compilation on Windows Arm64 and cross-compilation from x86-64 machines.
