Nvidia CEO Brushes Off OpenAI's Jalapeño Chip Challenge

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has dismissed OpenAI's Jalapeño chip as a challenge to his company's dominance in the AI industry. Speaking on CNBC's Mad Money, Huang said he was comfortable with the competition and pointed out that many projects get started only to be canceled later.

'Lots of projects get started. Lots of projects get canceled,' he said. 'We're here to support our partners and we're going to build the world's best technology.'

Huang emphasized Nvidia's broader platform, supply chain, and technology scale as advantages over emerging chipmakers.
