Nvidia CEO Pushes Back Against AI Doomsday Warnings
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has pushed back against warnings from former Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon about the dangers of rapidly advancing AI. Coxon had accused leading AI companies, including OpenAI and Anthropic, of racing toward self-improving superintelligence without adequate safeguards.
Huang called Coxon's comments 'deeply untrue' and criticized them as wrong, arrogant, and dismissive of the safety work being done across the industry.
At a Goldman Sachs conference, Huang reiterated Nvidia's revenue growth target of 70% for next year. He also highlighted the massive demand for AI infrastructure, predicting $3 trillion to $4 trillion in spending by 2030.
