Nvidia CPO Partners Crush Delay Rumors, Confirm Production Timelines

NVIDIA's co-packaged optics (CPO) partners, Lumentum and Coherent, have squashed rumors of delays in their adoption. According to recent investor calls, both companies confirmed that production remains on track.

Coherent stated that scale-out CPO revenue will begin in the second half of 2026, with customer deployments expected in 2028. Scale-up volumes are set to follow in 2027.

Lumentum also highlighted growing demand for ultra-high power CPO lasers and expects volume shipments to commence in the second half of 2027.
