Nvidia Denies Plans for China-Specific AI Chip
Nvidia has denied reports that it plans to begin shipping an AI chip tailored for Chinese customers by year-end.
The report, which was published in The Information, stated that Nvidia planned to start small-batch shipments of its LPU (Language Processing Unit) processor, designed for Chinese customers, by the end of the year.
An Nvidia spokesperson denied this report, stating that the company has no China-specific version of the product on its roadmap.
