Nvidia Dethroned: Apple Surpasses Nvidia in Market Value
Nvidia's reign as the world's most valuable company has come to an end. Apple has surpassed Nvidia and taken its place at the top, according to market values.
Nvidia's stock has dropped by 8% over the past three months, while Apple's stock has gained 27%. The drop in Nvidia's value is due to worries about AI spending and how long the current cycle can last. Despite this, Nvidia should continue to benefit from AI spending as its products are considered the gold standard for AI development.
Nvidia's CEO Jensen Huang believes that total AI spend will reach $1 trillion next year and $3 trillion to $4 trillion by the end of the decade. He also predicts that Nvidia will generate $1 trillion in revenue from 2025 through 2027 from its Blackwell and Rubin lines alone.
