NVIDIA Dominates Q2 Earnings as AMD Closes Gap in AI Hardware
AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) and NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) have released their latest earnings reports, shedding light on the ongoing AI hardware race.
While NVIDIA posted record revenue of $82 billion for its quarter, with Data Center revenue reaching $75 billion and growing 92% year over year, AMD's quarter was carried by Data Center revenue of $6.72 billion, up 107% year over year and now accounting for 58% of total revenue.
NVIDIA's Jensen Huang stated that the company sees $1 trillion in Blackwell and Rubin revenue from 2025 through calendar 2027, and that it is growing share in inference 'very, very quickly'.
