NVIDIA Earnings Surpass Expectations as Institutional Investors Take Notice
NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) has been on the radar of several institutional investors, including Churchill Financial Advisors LLC. In the second quarter, Churchill Financial Advisors LLC increased its holdings in NVIDIA by 19.5%, purchasing an additional 3,220 shares and bringing its total to 19,744 shares.
The value of these shares is approximately $3.95 million as of the latest SEC filing. This is not an isolated case; other hedge funds have also made changes to their positions in NVIDIA during the second quarter. Lifetime Wealth Management P.C., for instance, acquired a new stake in NVIDIA valued at around $26,000.
NVIDIA's recent earnings report exceeded analysts' expectations, with the company reporting $2.22 earnings per share (EPS) and revenue of $96.22 billion. This represents a 105.9% increase from the same quarter last year. Management has guided to roughly $108 billion in fiscal Q3 revenue and indicated that fiscal 2028 sales could grow about 70%, which is significantly higher than analysts' modeled growth.
Analysts have responded positively to these figures, raising their price targets for NVIDIA stock. Wedbush upped its target from $330.00 to $345.00 and gave the company an 'outperform' rating.
