Nvidia Executive to Meet with LG Electronics in South Korea for Robotics Talks
Nvidia's senior director Madison Huang will visit LG Electronics' robotics hub in South Korea on Tuesday, marking the latest step in their deepening partnership. During her closed-door talks with LG officials, Huang is expected to focus heavily on robotics and potential collaborations.
The meeting will take place at LG's data factory under construction in southern Seoul, a key infrastructure platform for advancing humanoid robot capabilities. LG announced last week that it plans to unveil a next-generation humanoid robot capable of bipedal walking by the first quarter of 2027, based on Nvidia's robotics platform.
The partnership between the two companies has been growing, with LG signing a memorandum of understanding at Nvidia's headquarters in Santa Clara, California. The agreement was witnessed by Jensen Huang and LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo.
