Nvidia Eyes $10 Billion Investment in Anthropic's Record-Breaking IPO
Nvidia is set to become a lead investor in Anthropic's upcoming IPO, potentially committing up to $10 billion. The deal could also see Anthropic raise as much as $100 billion, valuing the company at around $2 trillion.
The exact terms of Nvidia's investment are still under discussion and have not been confirmed by either party.
Anthropic is currently diversifying its chip and cloud providers to reduce its dependence on Nvidia. The company has committed to spending over $100 billion on Amazon Web Services over 10 years, as well as using Amazon's Trainium chips and Google's TPU.
