Nvidia Eyes $10 Billion Stake in AI Giant Anthropic

Nvidia is considering a massive investment in AI company Anthropic, valuing it at around $2 trillion. According to reports, Nvidia would invest approximately $10 billion in Anthropic as part of its initial public offering (IPO). This move would secure a strategic investor for Anthropic ahead of the IPO.

Anthropic aims to raise up to $100 billion through its IPO, with Nvidia's investment being a significant anchor investment. The company has already secured commitments from other major players, including Amazon and Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund.

In November last year, Nvidia announced that it would invest up to $10 billion in Anthropic, but the exact terms of the deal are still unclear. Meanwhile, Anthropic has been working to diversify its chip supply chain after facing computing capacity shortfalls due to high demand for its Claude AI model.
