Nvidia Eyes $14 Billion Hugging Face Deal This Week

Nvidia is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire AI startup Hugging Face for approximately $14 billion. The deal may be reached as soon as this week, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The acquisition value could be around $12.9 billion, plus an additional $1 billion retention package for Hugging Face employees, said the source. This would bring the total transaction value to nearly $14 billion.
