Nvidia Eyes Graphics Card Price Hike Amid GDDR7 Cost Pressures

Nvidia is considering raising graphics card prices by 20-30% due to growing pressure from component costs, including GDDR7 memory chips. The move would mark the US chipmaker's third graphics card price adjustment this year.

The latest round could cover a broader range of products, extending beyond select high-end models as seen in previous increases in January and May.

Samsung Electronics and SK hynix are expected to benefit from rising GDDR7 DRAM prices, as the companies are main suppliers of the memory chips used in Nvidia's GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards.
