Nvidia Eyes Investment in AI Startup Perplexity Valued at Over $30 Billion
Nvidia is reportedly in talks to invest in AI startup Perplexity, valued at over $30 billion. This valuation marks a 50% increase from the previous funding round held a year ago.
Perplexity's annual revenue has surged from under $250 million at the beginning of the year to more than $750 million, with a portion of this growth attributed to Perplexity Computer.
The company's CEO, Aravind Srinivas, has stated that Perplexity is planning to go public by 2028, regardless of market reactions to the public listings of competitors like Anthropic and OpenAI.
