Nvidia Eyes Multi-Billion Stake in Data Center Developer
Nvidia is reportedly weighing a stake of up to $3 billion in SB Energy, a SoftBank-backed developer building an Ohio data center for Microsoft-backed OpenAI.
The talks are also tied to discussions over Nvidia providing as much as $100 billion of credit support for the project.
This proposed investment could be split in two, with roughly half committed when the data center deal is finalized and the rest potentially added around an SB Energy IPO that could raise at least $5 billion.
