Nvidia Flicker Fix Delayed Until September 10
Nvidia's latest GeForce driver update has caused screen flickering issues for some users. The problematic version is 616.56, and it affects monitors that display a wide range of colours.
Nvidia acknowledges the issue and confirms they're working on a fix. However, this won't be included in the upcoming driver release on September 3, which coincides with the launch of DLSS 5. Instead, users can expect the patch to arrive by September 10 at the latest.
For those experiencing flickering issues, there are temporary workarounds available. Switching to 10-bit colour via the Nvidia app or using Windows Automatic Colour Management (ACM) may help alleviate the problem. However, rolling back to a previous driver version is also an option.
