Nvidia GeForce GPUs Lose Value Amidst Market Chaos
The current GPU market is characterized by high prices and limited value for gamers. Nvidia's GeForce GPUs have seen more significant price increases than AMD's Radeon or Intel's Arc graphics cards.
In a recent analysis, TechSpot examined the cost-per-frame performance of various GPUs in different regions, including the US, Australia, UK, and Canada. The study revealed that the market has changed significantly since prices skyrocketed last month.
At MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price), Intel's Arc B580 series was the best-value option for budget-conscious gamers, undercutting competing models by as much as 50%. AMD's Radeon RX 9060 XT series was a close second, offering higher performance and more VRAM at a modest price increase.
However, with current prices, Nvidia's GeForce GPUs are no longer competitive in the mid to upper-end market. The RTX 5070 Ti, for example, is now one of the worst-value options, with AMD's RX 9070 XT offering 37% lower cost per frame.
