Nvidia has made a significant investment in Taiwan's MediaTek, a leading chipmaker in the AI industry. The US-based company is investing $3.5 billion in MediaTek as part of its record-breaking $3.9 billion overseas convertible bond offering.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang dismissed concerns of circularity, saying 'This is not circular because obviously they do their own business and we do our own business.'
