NVIDIA Joins Forces with Cisco to Enhance Secure AI Factory
Cisco has expanded its Secure AI Factory to support rack-scale deployments in collaboration with NVIDIA. The updated design combines networking, security, observability, and automation within a validated full-stack approach for organisations developing and operating AI systems.
The joint effort integrates NVIDIA's GB300 NVL72 and RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition systems into Cisco's architecture for AI data centres. This integration aims to address the operational and security demands of larger AI installations in data centres.
Cisco is incorporating support for NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and integrating its Nexus, UCS, Hyperfabric, and security products with NVIDIA AI Enterprise software.
The offering includes Cisco AI Defence for protecting AI applications and workloads, Hybrid Mesh Firewall for network segmentation and policy enforcement, and Splunk for comprehensive monitoring and analysis. Automation tools such as Cisco Nexus Dashboard, UCS Manager, and Intersight are also included to simplify deployment and operational management.
