Nvidia Lands HPE's Former North America Sales VP Monica Gille
Nvidia has made a significant hire from Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), poaching former North America sales VP Monica Gille. Gille departed HPE in early August after more than 25 years at the firm, but her next role was not publicly disclosed until a LinkedIn post revealed she joined Nvidia as VP of global partnerships and channels.
Gille's new role will focus on accelerating the adoption of enterprise AI and software stacks. She expressed excitement about working closely with partners and channels to unlock new commercial opportunities and drive AI adoption across industries.
Gille has a long history in sales management, starting at StorageTek (now owned by Oracle) as European storage architect and competence center manager before moving on to various roles in Switzerland and Western Europe. Her most recent role at HPE was VP for sales strategy in North America, where she drove North American sales for industry verticals including telecom, financial services, and AI-focused businesses.
