Nvidia Leads Global Stocks Higher After Strong Q2 Results
Global stock markets largely rose on Friday following strong quarterly results from tech giants in the US. The DAX index in Germany increased by 0.6% to 26,523.10, while the CAC 40 in Paris climbed 1.1% to 8,408.72.
Meanwhile, Nvidia led the advance on Wall Street after delivering stronger profits and revenue than expected for its latest quarter. The chip maker's stock surged 8.7% as it forecasted even higher revenue growth in upcoming quarters.
Despite this positive trend, South Korea's Kospi index fell by 1.8% to 6,788.88, making it the biggest decliner among major markets. Analysts remain cautious about the potential impact of inflation on consumer spending and the global economy.
