Nvidia, LG Electronics Partner on Robotics
Nvidia and LG Electronics have strengthened their partnership in robotics, with the two companies planning to collaborate on various fronts.
The partnership was solidified through a meeting between Nvidia's senior director of product marketing, Madison Huang (also the daughter of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang), and LG affiliate executives.
According to the meeting, LG plans to use Nvidia's platform to train its robots by the end of this year. The two companies will combine the data collected from the training with Nvidia's robotics solutions to enhance the Robot Foundation Model, which serves as the brain of the robot.
The partnership is part of LG's 'One LG' initiative, which aims to bring together the group's core capabilities and collaborate with global partners to become a comprehensive robotics company. The companies also plan to work on AI factories and mobility projects.
