Nvidia Offers Affordable GPU Option at QuakeCon
Nvidia's graphics cards have become notoriously expensive in recent months, with prices skyrocketing to over $4,000 for top-end models. However, at QuakeCon in Grapevine, Texas, attendees will have a chance to buy these high-end GPUs at MSRP - the recommended retail price.
The 'Verified Priority Access IRL' sales are a rare opportunity for consumers to purchase Nvidia's RTX 5070, RTX 5080, and RTX 5090 graphics cards for $550, $1,000, and $2,000 respectively. These prices are significantly lower than what they're currently selling for on the market.
Nvidia has hosted these sales at various conventions in the past year, but this is one of the few ways consumers can score these GPUs at around the suggested list price. The RTX 50-series launch was notoriously limited back in 2025, which contributed to the price inflation we're seeing today.
