Nvidia Offers Discounted RTX 50-Series Cards at QuakeCon 2026
Nvidia is offering its latest GeForce RTX 50-series graphics cards at their original launch prices during QuakeCon 2026 in Grapevine, Texas. The promotion, called 'Verified Priority Access IRL,' allows attendees to purchase Founders Edition versions of the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 at the manufacturer's suggested retail price while supplies last.
The original launch prices for these cards were set at $1,999 for the RTX 5090, $999 for the RTX 5080, $749 for the RTX 5070 Ti, and $549 for the RTX 5070. However, limited availability plagued the launch, with the 5090 and 5080 selling out on the same day they hit store shelves.
The current market prices for these cards are significantly higher than their original launch prices. According to Tom's Hardware's GPU price tracker, the most affordable RTX 5090 available today sits at $4,381, more than double its $1,999 MSRP.
