Nvidia on Track for $10 Trillion Market Cap by 2030
Nvidia's dominance in the AI accelerator market has led some to predict that it will reach a $10 trillion market valuation by 2030. To achieve this, Nvidia would need to more than double its current market cap of around $4.7 trillion over the next four years, resulting in an annualized return of about 18%. This would value the stock at approximately $410 per share.
The growth required for Nvidia to reach $10 trillion doesn't seem outrageous when considering the rapid expansion of the AI infrastructure market. Research firm Gartner forecasts that worldwide spending on artificial intelligence will hit $2.6 trillion in 2026, a 47% increase from last year. Moreover, Gartner predicts that spending on AI-optimized servers will triple over the next five years.
To support a $10 trillion market valuation, Nvidia would need to generate around $333 billion in profit at a price-to-earnings ratio of 30 or $400 billion at a more conservative multiple of 25 times earnings. In fiscal 2026, Nvidia's net income was about $120 billion and total revenue was approximately $216 billion.
