Nvidia (NVDA) has partnered with Kawasaki Heavy Industries to build a next-generation digital shipyard using AI-powered robotics for shipbuilding. This collaboration combines Nvidia's AI and simulation platforms with Kawasaki's industrial expertise to redesign shipbuilding workflows.

The deal expands Nvidia's reach into maritime and industrial robotics beyond its existing focus on chips and data centers. The stock last closed at $200.75, with a large 3-year return and a 5-year return that is close to 9x, alongside a 15.7% return over the past year.

The digital shipyard project lines up with the narrative that Nvidia aims to supply full-stack AI infrastructure into sectors like manufacturing, where AI agents, simulation, and robotics can run on its platforms for many years.
