NVIDIA Partners with MediaTek on Next-Generation AI Computing Platform
NVIDIA Corp (NVDA) has announced a strategic partnership with MediaTek to develop a next-generation AI computing platform.
The collaboration includes a $3.5 billion investment in convertible bonds issued by MediaTek, marking NVIDIA's largest direct investment outside the U.S.
This partnership aims to enhance the capabilities of RTX Spark and DGX-Spark PC chips by merging NVIDIA's powerful GPUs with MediaTek's system-on-chips (SoCs).
NVIDIA's CEO highlighted that this collaboration will introduce accelerated computing to new markets, allowing clients to create differentiated AI systems.
