Nvidia Poised for Major Rally After Strong Q2 Earnings
Nvidia's stock price is poised for a significant rally in the coming weeks and months, according to an analyst who predicts the company will exceed expectations in its upcoming Q2 earnings report. With a current market cap of $5.25 trillion, Nvidia already surpasses Apple's valuation at $4.5 trillion.
The analyst believes that Nvidia's stock price will rise to around 35 times forward earnings after reporting strong Q2 results on August 26, which would put its value above the $6 trillion threshold by the end of 2026. This would represent a 46% gain from current levels and yield a market cap of over $7.65 trillion.
Nvidia's history of exceeding expectations is a key factor in this prediction. The company has consistently outperformed its own guidance, with Q4 FY 2026 revenue coming in at $68 billion despite an expectation of $65 billion. Similarly, Q1 FY 2027 revenue was $82 billion against a forecast of $78 billion.
