Nvidia Poised to Surpass $6 Trillion Market Cap Amid AI Boom
Nvidia's stock price has plummeted over the past three years despite soaring revenue and profits. The company's current market cap is $5.4 trillion, making it the largest in the world.
The AI spending boom shows no signs of slowing down, and investors are starting to realize Nvidia's undervalued position. If its stock rises to about $250 per share, it would make Nvidia the first $6 trillion company in history.
To put this into perspective, at $6 trillion, Nvidia would be worth more than Amazon, Meta Platforms, Tesla, and Netflix combined. The company's price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio has dropped from 100 times trailing earnings to 34, while its price-to-sales (P/S) ratio has tumbled from 35 times sales to 22.
Nvidia's recent quarter saw an 85% year-over-year revenue increase and a 211% net income increase. Its CEO, Jensen Huang, has ensured the company's long-term dominance through strategic investments in AI research.
