Nvidia is making its first major investment in a Taiwanese company by subscribing to MediaTek's overseas convertible bonds for $3.5 billion, approximately NT$110 billion.

This move represents more than just a financial stake for Nvidia; it solidifies the company's position as a leader in the AI hardware ecosystem.

Nvidia will adopt MediaTek's latest NVLink Fusion platform and NVHBM technology to help customers integrate custom XPUs into rack-level AI factories connected via Nvidia's NVLink.
