Irfan Al-Hussaini, a 32-year-old data scientist, delivered a presentation just hours before he was found unconscious in his Palo Alto home in July. He died eight days later, but his family is questioning the authorities' determination that it was a suicide.
The family marched to the California Attorney General's office in Sacramento, hand-delivering a formal complaint and emergency petition to Rob Bonta's office. They are asking for state intervention to halt the scheduled cremation of Al-Hussaini's body, fearing that important physical evidence may be lost.
