Nvidia's exceptional second-quarter fiscal 2027 results saw revenue and operating income more than double year-over-year, while maintaining a 75% gross margin.

The company's high-margin cash flow allowed it to return $26 billion to shareholders, a record amount, with $20 billion through share repurchases and $6.05 billion in dividends.

Nvidia is sticking to its plan to return at least 50% of free cash flow to shareholders, and the company's CFO Colette Kress stated that it will increase returns as excess free cash flow grows.

The Vera Rubin computing platform has seen strong demand, paving the way for accelerated buybacks and dividend raises. Nvidia expects Rubin to account for 20% of its data center revenue in the upcoming quarter, with a significant impact on AI infrastructure.
