Nvidia Revenue Doubles to Nearly $100 Billion as CEO Declares AI 'Golden Age'

Nvidia's quarterly revenue has doubled to nearly $100 billion as CEO Jensen Huang declared that demand is accelerating in what he calls the 'golden age' of AI.

The chipmaker, with a market cap of $5 trillion, brought in $96.2 billion in revenue, beating Wall Street expectations of $92 billion in the second quarter.

This represents a 106% increase from last year's quarterly revenue, and the company expects its revenue to grow further to $108 billion by the end of the third quarter.

Nvidia saw significant growth in datacenter revenue, with $89 billion in the second quarter, representing a 117% year-over-year increase.

Huang attributed the growth to AI reaching an 'inflection point', where its tokens are productive and profitable.
