Nvidia Revenue Explosion: $96 Billion Quarter Sets New Record
Nvidia's latest quarterly earnings report reveals a massive jump in revenues, with the company raking in $96.2 billion for the quarter ending July 26, 2026 - a staggering 106 percent increase from the same period last year.
The Data Center segment was responsible for the lion's share of this revenue, delivering $89 billion and growing by 117 percent year-over-year. Edge Computing added $7.2 billion in revenues, up 27 percent compared to the same quarter a year ago.
Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang is bullish on AI's prospects, stating that it has reached an 'inflection point' and is now 'doing useful work.' He notes that compute is revenue, with demand accelerating rapidly. Huang points to a surge in new AI labs and startups, as well as a thriving open-model ecosystem and the emergence of physical AI.
The company's stock price is down slightly in after-hours trading, however, with Morgan Stanley referring to Nvidia's business model as 'balance sheet-as-a-service' due to its reliance on a few large customers. These customers are also funded by Nvidia, which some see as a risk factor for the company.
Nvidia is predicting revenues of $108 billion plus or minus 2 percent in the current quarter, but investors seem unimpressed by this forecast.
